Refund Policy

1. Refund Policy for Contracted Plans

This section applies to all Monthly Lesson Plans (4, 8, and 12 Lessons) and Academic Sprints (Fixed-Term Packages).

1.1 Full Refund Eligibility

A full refund is provided under the following conditions:

The request is submitted more than 24 hours before the original scheduled time of the very first lesson in the plan or sprint.
Important Note: This 24-hour window is based on the initial booking time and is not affected by any subsequent attempts to reschedule that first lesson.

1.2 Partial Refund Eligibility

If the full refund condition is not met, a partial refund may be issued:

The request is made after the first lesson has been completed or less than 24 hours before its scheduled start time.
The partial refund amount will be calculated by deducting the full cost of all lessons already completed from the total plan price.
All unused lessons will be formally cancelled upon the processing of the partial refund.

1.3 No Refund

No refunds will be provided once all contracted lessons within a plan or sprint have been completed or the contract term has concluded.

2. Refund Policy for Individual & Reduced Rate Lessons

2.1 Individual Lesson Purchases

Full Refund: You are eligible for a full refund for a single, individually purchased lesson if the cancellation request is received more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
No Refund: No refunds or credits will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time or for no-shows.

2.2 Reduced Rate First Lesson

The reduced rate first lesson is a trial and introductory service.

Full Refund: A full refund for the reduced rate is available if the cancellation request is received more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.
No Refund: No refunds or credits will be provided for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time or for no-shows.

3. Consumer Statutory Rights

We adhere fully to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3.1 Right to Reasonable Service

All tutoring services provided must be:

Carried out with Reasonable Care and Skill: Instruction will be delivered by a competent tutor to a professional standard.
Completed within a Reasonable Time: Lessons will be delivered promptly as scheduled and agreed upon.

If the service provided fails to meet these statutory standards, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a repeat of the service, a price reduction, or a refund proportionate to the failure.

3.2 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

As our services are arranged online (distance selling), you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day after the contract is entered into (the purchase date).

Cancellation within 14 days (Service Not Started): If you cancel within the 14-day period and the first lesson has not taken place, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation within 14 days (Service Has Started): If you request the service to begin during the 14-day period and then choose to cancel, we are entitled to retain a proportionate amount of the plan cost to cover any lessons already provided. The refund will cover the cost of the services not yet delivered.

4. General Administration and Terms

How to Request a Refund

All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing via email to thebradleyacademy.info@gmail.com. Please include your full name, the tutoring plan purchased, the reason for the request, and reference the specific section of this policy if applicable.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the request approval. The funds will be credited back to the original method of payment.

Individual Lesson Rescheduling and Attendance

This refund policy governs the service contract and purchase. Specific rules regarding the rescheduling, cancellation, and attendance of individual lessons are detailed in our separate Booking Policy.
